North Yorkshire Police says it has taken steps to improve it's procedures around missing children.
An inspection of the force last November found serious issues with some areas of the way it handles reports of missing children and the search for them.

As part of it's response to the report North Yorkshire Police has doubled the size of it's missing from home team.
