North Yorkshire's Fire and Rescue service is facing a number of financial challenges.
The County's Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner says the size of the county means it needs more fire stations to provide cover across the area than is the case for other fire services, and it also needs more on-call firefighters to staff them.
Phillip Allot says that presents particular challenges:
North Yorkshire's Fire service is going to need more funding as a result.
