The lockdowns have affected the number of burglaries in the county while rising metal prices have had an impact on catalytic convertor thefts.
The number of Burglary's reported in North Yorkshire has fallen since the start of the COVID restrictions in March 2020.
The numbers fell during the lockdowns and Detective Superintendent Fran Naughton from North Yorkshire Police says the numbers still remain lower than pre-pandemic levels.

Last year saw a rise in the in the number of catalytic converter thefts from vehicles in the north of England.
North Yorkshire Police say As the price of metals such as platinum and palladium have risen, many areas of the UK have seen increased reports of catalytic converter thefts.
Detective Superintendent Naughton says they have made a number of arrests.
