Tony Hackworth's side have now lost six matches in a row after their latest setback.
They lost 3-2 at Sheffield in an early kick off in South Yorkshire.
The hosts raced into the lead inside six minutes. They promptly doubled their advantage midway through the first half.
However, Tony Hackworth's men rallied and equalised with two goals in four minutes.
Marshall Nock netted ten minutes before half-time, with Dom Weston firing home soon after.
However, Sheffield won it with a third four minutes ahead of the interval.
There were no goals in the second half as Pickering dropped to ninth spot in Northern Counties East Premier Division.
