Bridlington Town's Queensgate ground has a new name.
The new owners of Bridlington town have announced that the stadium sponsor for the 2024/25 season is Mounting Systems.
Queensgate will be known as the Mounting Systems Stadium.
Mounting Systems manufacture a range of high-quality solar panel mounting equipment in their factory in Germany. As the market leader in all things Solar, Bridlington Town are delighted to specify their equipment for its’ new solar panel system which will power the club towards its ambition.
Bilal Aslan, Mounting Systems Key Account Manager Europe, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to sponsor Bridlington Town and have the opportunity to support such a fantastic club! It is a privilege to showcase our top-tier, made-in-Germany solar mounting solutions throughout the stadium, reflecting our commitment to excellence and sustainability.
This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting journey for us to elevate our brand visibility in the UK and demonstrate our dedication to being a premium supplier of innovative and sustainable products in the photovoltaic industry.
We pride ourselves not only on the superior quality of our equipment but also on our commitment to transparent and ethical business practices.
We encourage all solar enthusiasts to specify the finest German-made mountings, just as Bridlington Town has, for their installations and join us in our mission towards a more sustainable future.”
The football club announced last month that a 400 panel solar array is to be installed on the roof of the stadium.
It will see a 400-panel solar array capable of generating 180 kW fitted on the roof of the stands.
With an estimated annual saving of £42,000, the deal provides Bridlington Town AFC with access to affordable renewable electricity to power their 2,800-capacity stadium at a fixed low-cost rate, offering price certainty and improved energy security for the club.
