The Yorkshire Cricket Board are recruiting a Community Cricket Officer to be based in the Scarborough and Ryedale District of North Yorkshire.
The role will promote and develop the game of cricket at all levels in clubs, schools and the community
The job advert says applicants need to have a sound knowledge and understanding of recreational cricket and have previous coaching experience in schools, cricket clubs and community groups.
Their aim will be to increase player participation and the successful candidate will be required to work directly with local schools, community groups and cricket clubs. They will be responsible for the delivery of school competitions to engage and retain young people in cricket together with a focus on Women and Girls development and those from a diverse background.
The role will also deliver informal teacher training and support sustainability of cricket within schools
