Extra police officers have been added to the teams in Bridlington and are already having an impact.
Police in Bridlington say they are having success in their efforts to tackle organised crime in the town.
Officers say a number of recent convictions have led to a reduction in indicants in the area.
Sargent Chris Almond updated town councillors at a meeting last week.
Sargent Almond says that more officers have been added to Bridlington's policing teams in recent weeks and says the new additions have already made an impact.
The Bridlington Policing team say:
"Drug taking and dealing in the streets around the town centre of Bridlington continue to be our focus. Addresses with increased activity will be monitored adding to the intelligence picture. We continue to review this intelligence, obtain warrants, and target areas and individuals of concern using our stop and search powers. Over the past month we have again executed further warrants and made arrests. We continue to work with Pro-active Patrols and BTP."
