A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man in Scarborough in the early hours of Saturday.
The 26-year-old man is due to appear at York Magistrates Court this morning.
Two other men arrested in connection with the same incident have been released on bail while Police enquiries continue.
Just before 1.45am on Saturday, North Yorkshire Police attended a report of a collision involving a white Audi car and a man on Silver Street.
The man suffered fatal injuries, and was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.
Officers subsequently located the Audi at Peasholm Gardens, and arrested three men on suspicion of murder at an address in Scarborough.
