East Riding Council's Coastal Services Team have reminded those visiting our coast to take their litter home with them.
In a statement issued today, they said:
'Whilst you are visiting the East Riding coastline, whether it be to sunbathe, paddle, picnic on the beach, swim, or just chill out in one of our chalets.
We hope you have a great time whilst you are here. All we ask is that when you have finished for the day please make sure you take away
everything that you brought with you. There are bins and recycle bins provided along the promenades for any rubbish.
Litter abandoned on the beaches and promenades can make it’s way into the sea where it can have devastating effects on wildlife!
Thank you for helping keep our beaches and promenades clean.'
