North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of a large metal gate from the public car park, Malton Gate, Thornton le Dale.
It happened between 7.30pm on Saturday 31 October and 7am on Sunday 1 November, when a large metal gate at the entrance to the car park has been stolen.
Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, they are appealing for information about anyone seen in the area acting suspiciously near to the gate.
