Yorkshire Beard Day 2024 is taking place on Saturday in Spa Suncourt, Scarborough Spa, Southbay.
It is set to be a folic ally fun, family friendly fun raising event featuring Beards, Beer, Beard competitions, Bearded Bands, Beard Art and all manner of Bearded merchandise including the ever-popular knitted beard stall.
All profits will be going to charity.
The annual fun and friendly beard competition run by members of The British Beard Club will take place between 2pm and 7pm on the day. You will need to have registered your beard in person at the beard competition reception table by 3:30pm on the day of competition to be able to compete. Entry Fee is by way of a charitable monetary donation. All monies raised go to raising awareness of Prostate Cancer.
Organiser Anthony Springall stresses that the day is for everyone…

Each Beard Style category will be paraded in front of the public and have a winner chosen by the Beard Judging panel. Anthony is delighted to have a special judge on the that panel….
Secret spotter prizes will also be awarded throughout the day. Following the awards and the bragging rights have been handed out, then the celebrations will continue late into the night with “Cardboard Sideburns”.
