It's Hornsea Dip on New Year's Day with hundreds set to race into the North Sea to raise money for Hornsea Inshore Rescue.
It's taking place on South Beach in the town with hot refreshments available.
Ian Worsdale is one of the organisers.
He says it's likely to be a cold one:
"It'll be chilly, but it's chilly all the time. I'm expecting over 300 people and we're getting about two and a half to 3000 people watching. Last year, of course, we had the problem with the the sewage outlets. So we had a hose down, but we still got well over 250 people getting a good hose down.
"And that was colder than the the actual sea. And some of the people actually went in the sea after the hose down to warm up!"
Registration at lifeboat station from 11am. All swimmers must register.
Hot refreshments will be available and every splash helps support the lifesaving work of Hornsea Inshore Rescue .
Sponsor forms are available from Hornsea Boat Launch, Robinsons News, Paul’s Barbers, Hornsea pubs, or to download at: www.hornsearescue.org.uk
Ian adds that there is a fundraising target in mind:
"We'll look to get maybe about £4,000. The money's spent on running the organisation. It's cost us around 60 to £65,000 a year to run Hornsea Inshore Rescue. And of course, as people, I hope, are aware that we're not part of the RNLI and we're not funded from any other sources other than local donations and fundraising schemes that we do ourselves.
"We get people dressed in all sorts of things. It's quite hilarious, and we do, every now and again, we get the odd mankini."
People are set to hit the water around 12 noon.
