Officers responded after glass fell from a business on Church Street in Whitby on Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 11.15am.
Firefighters from Whitby responded to reports of glass falling from a commercial building.
Crews assessed the building and assisted to pick up the panes of glass which had fallen from the window and made the scene safe.
