Firefighters had a typical rural issue to patrol near Scarborough on Saturday evening.
Fire crew from the town attended a large muck heap fire at Harwood Dale just after 7pm.
It was caused by a controlled burn that had spread to the muck heap.
Officers used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and requested a second appliance for water.
