Our major cricket sides- Whitby, Scarborough and Folkton & Flixton, bring down the curtain on their seasons on Saturday.
The exception is Bridlington who finish next week and are still in with a chance of promotion from Division One East of the York and District League. They visit Londesborough Park on Saturday.
If they are elevated, Brid will go into the York & District Premier Division. Barring an unusual combination of results, they'll join Folkton & Flixton, who appear to have just missed out on promotion themselves. The villagers take on Goole in their final encounter from 1pm.
Scarborough will cement second spot if they beat Sheriff Hutton Bridge, in Yorkshire Premier North. Boro picked up back to back wins over the Bank Holiday weekend and finish the season in fine form.
While Whitby also just miss out on promotion but will guarantee fourth spot in North Yorkshire South Durham Division One with victory over A171 rivals Guisborough. That's a 12.30pm start at the Turnbull Ground.
