A dog rescue charity on the Yorkshire Coast says it is seeing an increase in the number of dogs needing re-homing since the end of the lockdowns.
Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue has re-homed 500 dogs since it was launched ten years ago.
Sheila from the charity says there has been an increase in their workload in the last couple of months.
The charity says the number of animals needing their help was low while people were at home during the lockdowns but the return to work has lead to an increase in demand for their services.
Sheila says it's not a cheap operation.
