Infection rates continue to rise across North Yorkshire.
The seven day COVID infection rate in the Scarborough Borough now stands at 349 cases per 100,000 people, up slightly from yesterdays figure of 320.
It remains below the national average of 517 and is almost exactly the average for North Yorkshire which stands at 319.

There are fluctuations in the number of cases reported in various parts of the borough with Whitby West showing a further increase in cases, up 4 from yesterday's numbers. Scarborough Town & North Bay is now at 33 cases up from 21 in yesterday's numbers.
