Changes to bus routes and times in Scarborough are said to be causing people real problems.
The issue was discussed at a meeting of the county council yesterday where councillor Eric Broadbent asked the authority's transport bosses to put pressure on East Yorkshire Buses to address the issues caused by the recent changes.
The councils executive member for transport, Don McKenzie said it's part of a larger problem which he has discussed with East Yorkshire Buses Managing Director.
Bus Routes, service numbers and times changed on nearly all routes within Scarborough town at the end of last month.
The changes saw a refocusing of services from the north side of the town to the south side.
Speaking in October East Yorkshire Buses Area Director, Ben Gilligan, says the changes are being made in response to changing demand and admitted that some people may find the new arrangements less convenient.
