Concerns have been raised about how viable it's going to be to restore Filey's Little Bus service.
The community transport service ended last year when the operator retired.
Efforts have been underway since then to try and get the service running again
The local branch of Age UK have put forward a business plan, but Filey Mayor - Councillor Jaqui Houlden-Banks says that even if it did go ahead it wouldn't be able to provide the same level of service as the previous operator.
Town Councillor Linda Randall is concerned about the state of the bus itself.
The local branch of Age UK have put forward a business plan to operate a reduced service but Town Councillor Chris Adnitt is worried the numbers don't add up.
North Yorkshire Councillor for the town, Sam Cross, says there has been no interest in taking over the service from commercial operators.
The previous operator had run the service for 17 years and is highly regarded in the town. He retired last year and made arrangements for the bus itself to remain in the town for someone else to take over.
Both North Yorkshire Council and Filey Town Council have been involved in efforts to try and find a new operator although neither authority is, or would, be responsible for it's operation.
