Health leaders are concerned that while case numbers are not increasing, they are also not falling.
The number of COVID cases in North Yorkshire Care homes is unchanged on last weeks figures and while in one sense the lack of increase is good news, there is concern that the number is not falling.
Richard Webb is the county's Corporate Director of Health and Adult Services, he says it's expected that decreases in the numbers of care home cases will lag behind similar figures for community and hospital cases.
77 of North Yorkshire 385 Care settings are reporting COVID cases this week. That number is unchanged on last weeks figures which is causing the concern for the counties health care bosses.
Richard Webb says he'd like to see those numbers start to decrease but adds that there is some good news.
