Scarborough Borough Council says it is looking in to ways to alleviate issues being caused by irresponsible use of Camper-vans in the borough.
Councillors say they have received a flurry of complaints from residents in recent weeks after a number of camper-vans have spent time parked up on roadsides leaving behind rubbish and even human waste.
Councillor Tony Randerson says they are lookign at ways to encourage camper-van owners to use recognised camping sites.
