Local mental health support groups came together last night to ask for more signs to be installed on some of Scarborough's bridges to point people to sources of help and support.
Andy's Man Club and Scarborough Women's Wellbeing Club are asking the borough council to support the idea.
They met on the town's Spa Bridge last night to try, alongside local police and councillors, to highlight the issues around suicide prevention and to get the council to make it one of their priorities.

The groups are asking the borough council to support a move to install new signage on the town's bridges pointing people in crisis to sources of help and support.
Shaun says the two groups have come together to raise awareness of the issue.
