Questions raised about the "super fast" speeds being achieved in villages around Seamer.
If your broadband seems slow, check with your provider. That's the message from North Yorkshire County council after questions were raised about the "super fast" speeds being achieved in villages around Seamer.
County Councillor for the area, David Jeffels, says he's heard from a number of local people and businesses who say their broadband speeds are not up to the job.
Executive Member for Access Don Mackenzie says the area does have the kit necessary to enable high speed internet access and is people with Super Fast Broadband aren't getting decent connection speeds they should approach their broadband provider.
Don Mackenzie says the roll out of Superfast Broadband is continuing and that around 98% of the county will have access to superfast speeds when the latest stage of the rollout is complete.
