The Seasiders appointed a new management team this week and they get started with the visit of Redcar Athletic on New Year's Day.
Brid are looking to bounce back from 3 successive defeats which has seen them drop into mid-table.
It's a first match in charge for new manager Scott Kerr, the former Scarborough FC star.
He told Brid Town TV he can't wait to get started:
"Yeah, absolutely. Over the moon. Obviously it's been going on a few weeks now. We've had a few conversations and to finally get it over the line just in time for New Year's days, we're absolutely buzzing. Can't wait to get started. Also, I've played quite a lot on nearly 500 games within the league and non-league pyramid, as I've played under numerous different managers.
"So I've tried to take the little bits of positives and little bits of negatives from each of those managers and hopefully can try and put my own style on that. Just really excited to get in amongst the lads really and try and just give a little bit back to them really. And especially with results being struggling a little bit.
"Hopefully we can come in and try and make an immediate impact."
Kerr will be joined by another former Seadog in assistant Mark Hotte.
Kerr told Brid Town TV what fans can expect from his side:
"As a player, I left it all out on the pitch 110% week in, week out. So that's what I'll be asking from my team and my assistant manager who's coming in as well. Mark Hotte, who's a player, who I played with at Scarborough, he's very similar in work ethic to myself. And we'll be trying to install into the players the same things that we used to take out onto the pitch, and hopefully we can get that instilled into the team and try and say, change their fortunes round a little bit and try and start climbing up the league.
"So obviously we're not in a bad position, I've seen a couple of the games now and there's some very good young, talented players and the process that Brid are doing at the minute and integrating a lot of the younger lads, which is really good."
Kick-off on New Years Day at the Mounting Systems Stadium is 3pm.
