Bridlington Town Manager, Adrian Costello, says he has been given a "very competitive" budget to attract better quality players to the club by the new owners.
The club have this week announced the signing of former Scarborough Athletic skipper Michael Coulson as well as former Leeds United and Wales u21 player Chris Dawson.
Costello says new owners, HDM Solar, have ambition to take the club out of the league in the very near future and want to attract more people to the club by putting together a winning entertaining team of players.
In a post on social media Adrian said:
"A lot of people are asking and quite rightly so who the new owners of the football club are.
Well the company is called HDM Solar (look them up) who I recently met to discuss all things football.
I am sure they are going to use their own PR department in the near future to explain their plans but in a nutshell they want to put Bridlington and Bridlington Town on the map. They want players and everyone associated with the club to have pride in the club and the town. Not chase the extra £5 by jumping ship but be rewarded for their loyalty.
They realise to attract more people to the club they need a winning entertaining team of players. To that end they have given me a very competitive budget to attract better quality players to the club. I would hope that you have noticed the recent signings.
They have ambition to take the club out of this league in the very near future and aim to reward loyalty within the playing squad and fan base.
This is only a brief overview. As I previously said the exact business plan of how this will be achieved will be explained I am sure. It was explained to me and I was blown away but not really my information to share. "
