It's a six-pointer for the Seasiders, on Saturday, with just a point and a place separating the sides at the bottom end of the NPL Premier Division.
Tuesday's victory over Warrington Town kept Nathan Haslam's men outside the relegation places.
Whitby had lost their opening five home league games, but have now won their last three at HQ, including wins over Bamber Bridge and a young York City side.
Town's former Middlesbrough striker Brad Fewster is also bang in form, scoring four goals in his last four games.
