The A64 will be closed this weekend as Highways England carry out upgrade works and repairs at Sherburn.
The works between West Heslerton and Sherburn will involve repairs to the road and resurfacing. They will also be completing their 'village gateway' work at West/East Heslerton which involves lowering the speed limit to 40mph.
There will be a full closure of the A64 between West Heslerton and Sherburn from 8pm on Friday evening until 6am on Monday morning.
The diversion route is via the A170 and A169 through Pickering.
