Liam was diagnosed with a spinal tumour and is learning to walk again.
His cousin Lori Kellett would normally be performing all over the world on cruise ships but the pandemic has forced her to find work back home in Scarborough.
And on Friday night, she will be hosting an online concert using Zoom and raising money for Liam's Critchett's 'Next Step' fundraising campaign.
Lori told Paddy at Breakfast why she wanted to do something for Liam:
"Liam was diagnosed aged 11 with a spinal tumor. He's been in and out of hospital for years. He's learning to walk again with private treatment and it's costing £13,500 a year. All his funsraising events have been cancelled because of Covid. The current situation is really hard so I'm trying to do a little something to get by".
And she explained what people can expect from the concert:
I'm doing a mixture of uptempo pop and musical theatre. I might even get my sister to do a duet with me. There will be some Greatest Showman stuff, Eva Cassidy, Jess Glynne, just the sort of stuff I do on the cruise ship".
A £5 donation via the Just Giving fundraising page, followed by a message to Lori Kellett via Facebook will give people access to the concert which starts at 8:00pm.
