Owen Goldsworthy and Colin Suggitt took two wickets each for Driff.
Skipper Goldsworth then anchored the visitors' response with a magnificent 134 from 115 balls, with Ricky Woodmansey adding 61.
The away side got home with just three wickets and two balls remaining.
It was another dramatic finish, in the derby, at Wykeham.
Seamer & Irton chose to bat first but must have been regretting that after being routed for just 140.
Liam Eyre took 4/32 and Tom Denton 3/31 for Wykeham.
The hosts then fought to win by just one wicket, despite Toby Jones taking 3/29 for Seamer.
Folkton & Flixton chose to bat first against Sutton-on-Hull.
The villagers were bowled out for 215 with opener Ryan Baldry leading the charge with 51.
The away side were then skittled for just 148 despite a 55-run last wicket partnership.
Lewis Chipchase and Harry Walmsley took four wickets each as Folkton rise to third in the division.
It was a day to forget for Scalby as they mustered just 51 with only one double-figure score against Brandesburton.
Brandesburton won by seven wickets, despite Nathan Valentine taking two scalps.
Hornsea were also well beaten, by 188 runs, at Beverley Town 2nds.
Town racked up an imposing 382/5 from their 50 overs.
Richard Medforth and skipper Joe Butterworth took two wickets each for Hornsea.
The visitors were then bowled out for 194, despite 71 from Paul Clappison and Douglas Griebenouw's 52.
In Yorkshire Premier 2, Bridlington returned to winning ways as they skittled hosts Londesborough Park for just 109.
Calum Hatton took 5/34.
Brid then reached their target with five wickets down, Will Norman made 48 as they got home with more than 13 overs remaining.
Whitby are up to fourth in North Yorkshire South Durham Division Two, after thumping Middlesbrough 2nds by 192 runs.
After choosing to bat first, contributions down the order, including 52 from wicket-keeper Ben Braim saw the hosts post 280/9 at the Turnbull Ground.
Middlesbrough were then bowled out for only 88, with skipper Tom Steyert taking 4/38 and Chris Knight 3/8.
In Yorkshire Premier North, Driffield Town lost a dramatic home clash with Knaresborough which went right to the wire.
The visitors were put in to bat first, posting 224/8 from their 50 overs.
Elliot Hatton took 3/68 with two wickets each for George Drury and Jack Redshaw.
Both Tom Welch and Adam Barton notched 41 with plenty of starts for Driffield in reply but no-one could go on to pass 50 and the hosts were bowled out off the final ball of the 50th over just six runs short of their target.
It was derby day in Championship Central as Malton & Old Malton saw off in-form neighbours Pickering.
Pickering chose to bat first with opener Archie Welford top-scoring on 56 as they posted a modest 194/9 from their 50 overs.
Shaun Harland took 4/48 for Malton.
They then got home by four wickets with 12 overs to spare.
Tim Whincup grabbed 4/48 for Pickering while wicket-keeper Charlie Allott smashed 53 off just 50 balls.
