Tourists are already making enquiries about holidays on the Yorkshire Coast following Monday's announcement of the road map out of lockdown.
The majority of hotels have closed during the most recent lockdown, it is currently illegal to stay away from home other than for "essential reasons".
Monday's roadmap out of lockdown identified the dates when the Government expects to be able to allow the reopening of overnight accommodation in England.
Campsites, Self Catering lets and self-contained holiday accommodation should be able to reopen from April 12th.
Hotels and B&B's will have to wait until at least May 17th.
Tony Bates from Hotel Ellenby in Scarborough says he's been taking phone calls from potential visitors since Monday.
Tony says he wants a sustained recovery after lockdown and was please the Prime Minister didn't go too far too fast.
