The Yorkshire Coast 10k run will be returning in October and entry for this years' event will open on Wednesday.
The event has raised thousands of pounds for local good causes over recent years.
Race Director Alan Whelan says this year the event will be supporting three local groups.
There will be two thousand places available for the run and the fun run.
Last year the race organisers were raising money for local schools.
This year race director Alan Whelan says they will be supporting Saint Catherine's, the Rainbow Centre and Sash.
Entry for this year's event opens on Wednesday 1st June at 7am. There will be a limit of 2,000 places for the 10k event although a new entry system will mean that for the first time a waiting list will be in operation for people not able to get a place.
More details about the event are available here https://www.yorkshirecoast10k.co.uk/
