The Blues missed chances in the first half and failed to turn up for the second on Saturday.
The hosts had the better of the first period on the Yorkshire Coast but missed a string of chances before visitors Leek smashed in a beautiful goal from distance, against the run of play, eleven minutes before half-time.
Adam Gell fired across the face of goal, for Whitby, inside four minutes. Soon after, Jake Charles beat the offside flag but chipped wide. The same player then stabbed into the hands of Leek's keeper.
The visitors then broke the deadlock. If they were fortunate to lead at the break, there was only one team in it, after the interval, as goals just after the hour and four minutes from time gave the Staffordshire side a deserved 3-0 victory.
