Whitby Town joint manager Lee Bullock has warned his players they must be ready to put their bodies on the line as they face Morpeth Town in a vital relegation six-pointer this Easter Monday.
Whitby Town are preparing for a crucial fixture as they travel to Northumberland to face Morpeth Town.
The match is being described as a vital relegation six-pointer in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, with both sides desperate for points to secure their survival in the division.
Morpeth are second from bottom with the Blues on the other side of the relegation line, five points clear of the drop zone going into the clash.
Joint manager Lee Bullock has laid down the gauntlet to his squad, demanding total commitment and physical resilience in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter.
Bullock told Whitby Town TV:
"Yeah, it's just going to be an absolute battle, survival of the fittest, isn't it? Whoever wants to put their body on the line and go hammer and tongs. They know what's expected, they know what they need and if you can't get up for a game like that, don't bother coming. As simple as. So we will be ready for it and we know how important it is. It's up to me and Jason to get them right and then once them lads get on that pitch to go and put a performance in."
There's more from Bullock, plus goalkeeper Shane Bland, defender Frankie Whelan and debutant Fin Holcroft on the latest Codcast:
