Right-back Connor Smith has committed to Whitby Town, signing a new contract ahead of the coming season.
The highly-rated full-back, who joined the Seasiders on a permanent deal from Marske United in November 2023, has become a reliable member of Nathan Haslam's squad.
Now in his third spell with Town, having enjoyed separate loan spells, one from Hartlepool United and one from York City, Smith has committed his immediate future to Whitby Town.
Smith told whitbytownfc.com:
"I'm happy to get this new deal sorted early on as it means I can focus on getting ready for pre-season knowing where I'm at.
"I feel that it's important to learn the lessons from the last campaign and look to improve to have a successful 2024/25 season."
Town boss Haslam added:
"Connor is more than equipped for this level of football and he was part of a backline who did very well for us last year.
"It's important that he continues that hard work moving forwards and that he keeps improving for us as he's a key part of the squad."
