The Northern Premier League have asked the Football Association to void the season early for the second season in a row, due to Covid-19.
Whitby Town and Scarborough Athletic play in the league- which sits at level 7 of football in England- and has been severely affected by Coronavirus lockdowns.
Both clubs told us they were in agreement with the decision, which is expected to be voted on by teams across the country who play at that level.
Fixtures have already been postponed up to the 6th of March due to the current restrictions.
