Work to enhance the service on the Esk Valley railway line is progressing.
That’s according to an update presented to local councillors.
The transport scheme is being overseen by the new Mayoral combined authority but money for the scheme is held by North Yorkshire Council who received the funds as part of the development of the Woodsmith Mine.
At a recent meeting Councillor Liz Colling read an update to councillors from the mayoral authority:
