Roof tiles were blown off and gardens were trashed in 'Eastfield Tornado".
Amazing footage has emerged of the moment very high winds caused damage to properties in Eastfield at around 7:00am on Thursday 31st March. At the time hail and snow as coming down and thunder and lightning was witnessed. Local residents in Eastfield contacted us asking if they'd been hit by a tornado.
Shaun Woodall has sent us this video from his back garden in Eastfield.
Shaun told This Is The Coast that the strong winds only lasted around 10 seconds but caused damage to a number of properties:
"There was a lot of damage to the roofs of our five-row terrace, as you can see from the video it was just chaos for around 10 seconds, lots of damage to containers and hanging baskets from the falling debris".

We have approached weather experts for comment on the video.
