Sally and Antony Brown set off from Bude, Cornwall, in May last year on a 6000 mile walk around the entire coastline of the UK. They will be on the Yorkshire Coast today and tomorrow.
The Brown's are currently walking the UK coastline to raise funds for the RNLI , supporting saving lives at sea.
Today's leg of their walk is from Robin Hood's Bay to Scarborough. Where they are expected to arrive at Scarborough Lifeboat Station at approximately 2pm-2:30pm.
The Scarborough RNLI team say:
"If you are near the station at this time and see them arrive, give them a well done cheer."
Tomorrow (Tuesday 30 January), Sally and Antony Brown will be continuing their journey southwards and will be stopping briefly at Bridlington Lifeboat Station between 1pm and 1.30pm.
Bridlington RNLI say:
"We would love to give them a big welcome at Bridlington RNLI and hope that members of the public will be able to welcome them at the station as they travel through the town. So, pop down and give them a warm welcome and even top up their fundraising for the RNLI. "
Sally and Antony set off from Bude, Cornwall, in May last year on a 6000 mile walk around the entire coastline of the UK. Their amazing journey will take them 12 months, as they travel clockwise through England, Wales and Scotland.
They have been planning the journey for the past 8 years and hope to complete the circuit of the country by 22nd May 2024!
They don’t plan to take any rest days and hope that their efforts will raise £50,000 for the RNLI.
