A senior doctor has confirmed the huge importance of fresh air in stopping the spread of Coronavirus, as cases continue to fall in North Yorkshire.
Dr Victoria Turner is a Public Health Consultant for the NHS in the county.
She says it's important to wear facial coverings where required and to follow social distancing guidelines.
However- she also made the case for spending time in well-ventilated areas.
Dr Turner also says the vaccine roll-out has helped but it isn't the main driving factor in the reduction.
She added there is still work to be done but figures are good currently.
