Bridlington Town delivered a commanding three-nil victory over West Auckland Town, driven by a brilliant Ahmed Salam brace and a composed finish from Casey Stewart.

Early attacking moves tested the visiting defence as the Seasiders set an aggressive tone from the opening whistle. Multiple early chances were created through Casey Stewart and Ahmed Salam as they pressed their opponents.
Counter-attacks from West Auckland threatened the hosts around the midpoint of the first half, but their efforts ultimately drifted wide of the target.
The crucial opening goal arrived in the twenty-ninth minute of the match. A low cross was drilled into the penalty area by Destiny after he outmanoeuvred his defender on the wing. The ball became stuck between the feet of a West Auckland defender who was unable to clear his lines. Salam seized upon the loose ball and rifled it into the net to make it one-nil.
A curling effort from Pratley forced a fine save from the West Auckland goalkeeper in the thirty-sixth minute as the hosts pushed to extend their lead.
The advantage doubled just one minute later. Stewart found himself wide open on the edge of the attack and maintained his composure to slot the ball past the goalkeeper before the half-time break.
An injury to Coist Walker forced a substitution ahead of the second half, with Riley Cooper taking his place on the pitch.
Relentless pressure kept West Auckland on the defensive as the second half commenced. A volley from Destiny and Charlie Birdsall whistled inches wide of the post, while a dipping free-kick from Salam was acrobatically tipped over the crossbar by the visiting keeper.
A third goal put the match firmly out of reach in the sixty-first minute. A corner kick was reworked out to Tom Allan on the right wing, who played the ball inside to Salam. Cutting onto his favoured left foot, Salam slotted the ball home to secure his brace and Bridlington's third goal of the evening.
Toby Marriott replaced Charlie Birdsall shortly after. A fourth goal was almost added in the seventy-fifth minute when Marriott broke the offside trap, but his one-on-one strike was denied by a sharp leg save.
A late triple substitution refreshed the lineup, with Marshall, Bolino, and Kettlewell brought on to replace Stewart, Salam, and Destiny.
The search for a fourth goal continued into the final stages, with Marriott seeing yet another effort saved by the goalkeeper. The woodwork then denied a final goal in added time when Ben Tweed rattled the upright with a ninety-second-minute free-kick.
Four consecutive victories in all competitions will be the target for manager Scott Kerr and his squad this Saturday when they travel to face Silsden. The Seasiders will then return home the following Saturday to host Whitby Town in the FA Trophy.
