Comedy fans can look forward to live performances from Paddy McGuinness, Richard Ayoade, and Chris McCausland as they bring their new tours to the Yorkshire coast in 2027.
Live comedy fans will see three of the country's most recognisable entertainers take to the stage in Scarborough in 2027.
Paddy McGuinness, Richard Ayoade, and Chris McCausland are all scheduled to bring their brand-new live tours to the iconic Grand Hall at Scarborough Spa.
The bookings represent a major boost for live entertainment on the Yorkshire coast, with venue officials promising a standout year for comedy.
A spokesperson for Scarborough Spa said:
"With three of Britain's most beloved comedians heading to Scarborough next year, audiences can look forward to an incredible programme of stand-up, storytelling, and unforgettable entertainment."
Television presenter and comedian Paddy McGuinness will return with his new live show, Blast from the Past, in October 2027.
Having become a household name through hit television shows including Phoenix Nights, Take Me Out, Top Gear, and A Question of Sport, the entertainer is heading back on the road with an all-new tour.
Venue promoters say his live performances have earned him a reputation as one of the country's most engaging and naturally funny performers.
Fans are being promised a night full of laughs as he shares fresh tales from life, family, and everything in between, packed with his trademark northern humour and larger-than-life stories.
Earlier in the year, audiences will be treated to the distinctive comedy of Richard Ayoade, who brings his Afterthoughts tour to the seaside town in February 2027.
Best known for his award-winning role as Maurice Moss in The IT Crowd and as the much-loved host of Travel Man, the comedian has become one of the UK's most original comedic voices.
Scarborough Spa representatives said:
"Audiences can expect an evening of intelligent humour, sharp observations, and the unmistakable style that has earned him a devoted following."
Completing the trio of major announcements is Strictly Come Dancing champion Chris McCausland, who will bring his latest tour, Waffle, to the venue.
The acclaimed stand-up comedian returns to the Spa following two recent sold-out performances on the coast.
A familiar face from television panel shows including Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, The Last Leg, and QI, he continues to be one of the most in-demand comedians in Britain.
Organisers say his upcoming tour promises an evening packed with laughter, clever observations, and the brilliantly self-deprecating humour that has made him a firm favourite with comedy fans nationwide.
The three announcements reinforce a commitment by the venue to bring some of the biggest names in live entertainment to the region.
A Scarborough Spa spokesperson added:
"Whether you're a fan of Paddy's larger-than-life storytelling, Richard's deadpan genius, or Chris's award-winning stand-up, 2027 is shaping up to be an unforgettable year for comedy at the Spa, with more to be announced soon!"
