The Chair of North Yorkshire LEP encourages businesses to apply for financial help and customers to use local online firms where possible.
There's a warning that some businesses on the Yorkshire Coast wont survive the national lockdown.
David Kerfoot is chair of North Yorkshire's local enterprise partnership, he says some businesses in the county wont be able to carry on.
But he says there is financial help available and the LEP is there to help local firms apply for it.
David Kerfoot says everyone needs to do their bit to help support the local economy during the national lockdown.
David says we should all try to buy local where possible from local firms operating online.
