Winter Pressure, COVID, The Booster Roll Out and Staff Sickness are all having an impact on the NHS.
Pressure on the NHS in North Yorkshire remains high as the system deals with the normal winter surge as well as the demands of COVID and to booster programme.
Amanda Bloor from the NHS in the county says demand is high and some staff leave has been cancelled.
Amanda says part of the problem is staff absence through COVID.
The NHS in North Yorkshire has expanded the number of vaccination sites at speed, including walk-in sites and some pharmacies.
This has been done by redeploying some NHS staff, putting pressure on other areas of the system. All sites are open daily except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but NHS leaders in the county have said sites would be open on these days also if necessary.
