SEA LIFE Scarborough will throw open it's doors to guests once again with a raft of safety precautions in place
Merlin Entertainments has confirmed that it's Yorkshire attractions including SEA LIFE Scarborough will reopen on Monday May 17, after the Government confirmed the next stage of its roadmap out of lockdown.
The company says that a range of comprehensive safety precautions are in place at all Merlin attractions, including pre-booking, temperature checks, social distancing and group sizes and the wearing of masks by guests and team members.
Merlin is also backing the Government’s review of social distancing measures and as part of this is calling for the 1m+ rule to be scrapped post-June 21 under stage 4 of the proposed roadmap out of lockdown and as the vaccination roll-out ramps up.
General Manager Andy Turner said:
“We can’t wait to finally reopen on Monday May 17 and get back to doing what we do best – creating magical experiences for our guests.
“All our attractions are COVID-secure and we have a raft of safety precautions in place including pre-booking, temperature checks and capacity reductions.”
