Woodland Walks are about to go mobile for people in the Scarborough area.
The Raincliffe Wood Community Enterprise team is working on a way of bringing the woodland to you.
They are currently recruiting for new staff with an aim of creating an outreach programme that will enable more people to experience woodlands.
Paul Thompson is Raincliffe's Community Woodland Manager, he told This is the Coast that they'll be doing a range of activities including carving tools out of wood:
"Once we get the new staff started, we'll start reaching out to other local organisations.
"We want to work with local schools, youth groups, community centres and we'd also like to take the woodland out to people who can't physically come to the woodland themselves.
"We're looking at creating some virtual walks that we can take into care homes or for people with limited abilities, so we're hoping to do a mix of physical events but then also some digital resources so we can also take the woodland out to people who can't come to us."
