Scarborough Yacht Club is staging it's biggest race of the year this weekend as the annual North Sea Race gets underway.
The race will see 14 yachts race from Scarborough to Holland.
Vice Commodore Thomas Hill says the 7pm start in Scarborough should provide quite a spectacle.

Thomas says the sailors will face a number of challenges on the North Sea crossing
This year's event could produce some record crossing times for the race, Thomas Hill says the weather conditions are looking favourable.
