Scarborough RUFC saw their winning run ended- Whitby are still struggling- but Bridlington march on in Yorkshire One.
Matty Jones' Scarborough were beaten 30-19 at Malton & Norton in North East One.
They were on a four-match winning streak, including defeating the league leaders Ilkley, last week.
Bridlington kept up their good form, though, to move up to fourth in Yorkshire One.
Brid, who were also on their travels, enjoyed a 20-8 success at Leeds-side Roundhegians.
Whitby are struggling, though, in Durham & Northumberland Division Two.
They succumbed 30-17, at Sedgefield, to drop to second from bottom.
