Penguins at Sealife Scarborough are feeling more chipper as their human friends return.
Scarborough Sea Life reopened this week following the easing of the lockdown restrictions
And one couple celebrating the reopening were penguins Custard and Rico
Graeme Farrah from Sea Life says they have been missing the visitors
As well as the penguins feeling less lonely, Graeme Farrah says the rest of the reopening has also gone well with an encouraging start to the week in terms of visitor numbers and the new COVID procedures working well.
The company says that a range of comprehensive safety precautions are in place at the attraction, including pre-booking, temperature checks, social distancing and group sizes and the wearing of masks by guests and team members.
