Scarborough's Lifeboat crew walked through the night in wind and rain, carrying a mannequin on a stretcher.
The route, from Osmotherley to Ravenscar, takes in nearly 5,000ft of elevation gain over the Cleveland Hills and moorland of the national park.
The distance is around 42 miles.
The route was created in 1955 by Bill Cowley who wondered if it was possible to walk across the North York Moors in under 24 hours.
The crew of around 12 set off at 4:00pm on Friday 21st July and planned to arrive at Ravenscar within 24 hours. They arrived at 12:59pm on Saturday tired and wet, but delighted to have raised well over £1,000 for the RNLI.
