Saint Catherine’s Hospice is celebrating a momentous milestone in 2025 – their 40th anniversary.
To mark this special occasion, they're calling on local businesses to participate in the exciting 40, 40, 400 Challenge.
The challenge runs from February 1st to March 12th, 2025, and invites 40 companies to raise £400 each over the 40 days. This unique initiative aims to harness the collective generosity of local businesses, with a goal of raising a combined total of £16,000 for the hospice.
Recognizing that not all companies can dedicate a full year to a single cause, the 40, 40, 400 Challenge offers a flexible, short-term opportunity for businesses to contribute to a worthy cause.
Anna Jackson is Head of Income Generation at St Catherines:
Already, a diverse range of businesses, from large corporations like McCain's to smaller local enterprises like Bernards and MKM, have pledged their support. The challenge is open to all businesses, regardless of size or sector. One exciting event in the pipeline is a 24-hour dartathon organized by the Scarra Cricket Club.
This 40th anniversary year is a time for both reflection and anticipation for Saint Catherine's.
Anna added:
The anniversary is not only a celebration of the past but also a springboard for the future. Saint Catherine’s has ambitious plans for new services and developments, including mobile hubs to bring their care closer to patients' homes.
Businesses interested in joining the 40, 40, 400 Challenge can find more details and sign up on the Saint Catherine's website, stcatherines.org.uk, or by calling the hospice directly. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to support a vital local organization and be a part of Saint Catherine's 40th anniversary celebrations!
